Very informative review , I had no idea of what is a MacGuffin! I definitely think this is the movie that defined Tarantino and his unique style. When I hear his name, I always associate it with this movie. The timing is great with this one since Inglourious Basterds just opened, great job!
Thanks, I can’t wait to see Inglourious Basterds, I have yet to hear of someone who saw it who didn’t like it.
Interesting take on Pulp Fiction’s MacGuffin. I hadn’t heard that.
Have you seen “Kiss Me Deadly”? Such an insane noir. It has a very similar MacGuffin that looks like it influenced Tarantino’s. Of course, the results are a lot more dramatic when the case is opened…
Oooo sounds intriguing, and I see Cloris Leachman is in it- she’s becoming a personal favorite of mine.
Nice theory about the bandage on the back of the neck but I think it’s from an actual wound because he still has a large scar there. Either he had a wound at the time of filming or was embarrassed by the scar and wore the bandage. All three seem like fine explanations if you ask me.
Agreed. Hey I just took a look at your site, great content.
Thanks, I’m pretty much just a contributing writer. Anyway, I like your reviews.
Thanks, that means a lot.
